How to get to Bratislava:

• If your journey to Slovakia is via Vienna airport, please, take the direct bus from Vienna airport (platform 7) to Bratislava Bus Station (Bratislava AS, Mlynske Nivy). Fare for one way is 7,70 € (return OPEN 14,30 €). Price for luggage 1€.
• If you come to Vienna by train, you should further take a train from Wien Südbahnhof Ostbahn to Bratislava hl.st. - Central Railway Station (be aware of train arrival to Bratislava hl.st., no other railway stations).
• If you fly through Prague, you should continue to Bratislava airport.

The traffic within Bratislava:
Bus starting point (departure from Bratislava to Smolenice) on Sept. 15^th is Fajnorovo nábrežie at 14:30. If you arrive to Bratislava earlier, refreshing point is Institute of Normal and Pathological Physiology, Sienkiewiczova Street 1, Bratislava.

• From Bratislava Bus Station – Autobusová stanica (Bratislava AS, Mlynske Nivy) take city bus No. 70 (15-minute non-through-ticket, 0,70 €) to second bus stop Malá scéna How to get to our Institute or to Fajnorovo nábrežie (from bus stop Malá scéna)
• From Bratislava airport (Letisko) take city bus No. 61 (60-minute through-ticket, 0,90 €) to Central Railway Station (Hlavná stanica)
• From Bratislava Central Railway Station take tram No. 13 (60-minute through-ticket, 0,90 €) to Šafárikovo nám. (do not get out of tram on the terminal tram stop Nám. Ľ. • Tickets should be bought in advance in kiosk or ticket vendor and marked immediately after entering the bus or tram
• From each place in Bratislava, you can get to our Institute or to Fajnorovo nábrežie also by taxi – taxi phone numbers:

How to get to Smolenice:
The castle in Smolenice can be easily reached by taxi or by bus from Bratislava. The bus stop in Smolenice is about 1 km from the castle. Smolenice can be reached also by train from Bratislava to Trnava and from Trnava to Smolenice. However, the railway station in Smolenice is about 3 km from the castle.
Besides the public transport, special conference buses will be organized from/to Bratislava before and after the conference on September 15 and September 18, 2011.
Special conference buses are free of charge for those who make reservation in the registration form. They will be organized:

• from Bratislava to Smolenice on September 15, 2011 with departure at 14:30 from Fajnorovo nábrežie, Bratislava,
  expected arrival to Smoelnice at 15:45
• from Smolenice to Bratislava on September 18, 2011 with departure at 13:00 from Smolenice Castle,
  expected arrival to Bratislava at 14:15

The Smolenice castle, surrounded by a beautiful park, is towering above the village of Smolenice in the eastern foothills of Small Carpathians about 60 km from Bratislava. The original castle was rebuilt in the beginning of the previous century in romantic style. Now, after a large renovation it offers full comfort in several well equipped conference rooms including videoconferencing or wireless network connection. Accommodation is in suites, single, double or more-bed rooms, all with their own bathrooms. Participants can rest in the quiet corners of the castle or in its garden or can walk through nice parks surrounding the castle.
